Roger Chevrel has over 30 years of experience in electronics, managing businesses in a wide scope of domains and in a variety of stages of maturity, most of them with global leading positions. More specifically

• IT : software, services, workstations and military computers, maintenance and test equipment
• Telecommunications including design and production for security and military communications, ground space stations, spectrum control system, telecommunications systems and services for rail
• Broadcast TV and radio transmitters ; multimedia applications
• Flight simulators for commercial and military aircrafts
• Security including ID government documents and perimetral security
• Positioning services for off shore oil and gas industry and submarine cables layout.

In these fields Roger managed numerous acquisitions and divestments in France, Europe and in the US.

Roger began his career in public works and then founded a software services company. He joined Thomson-CSF (Thales) in 1981 as a system project manager and then became CEO of the military IT division. From 1990 onwards, he was appointed Senior VP and member of the Thomson-CSF executive board; he became CEO of the IT Group in 1990, the Communications and Command Group in 1992 and the Solutions and Services Group in 1998. Roger has been a consultant since 2003 and has cooperated with Techfund since 2005. He is Ingénieur Civil des Mines, a CPA graduate and holds a Master in law.

Recently, Roger served on the Board of Seemage (acquired by Dassault Systèmes).
